Everdell: Silverfrost sends you beyond the snow-capped Spirecrest mountains into the harsh southern frontier of Silverfrost, where you must build and maintain a thriving woodland city in the middle of an unforgiving winter. You’ll dig your way through drifting snow, feed the fires that keep your citizens warm and productive, and complete vital quests for the Rangers’ Guild, all while using worker placement and tableau-building familiar from Everdell. This Edge of the Map standalone entry is designed for 1–4 players, ages 10 and up, with a playtime of roughly 120 minutes.
Key Features:
Standalone winter chapter in the Everdell world: Everdell: Silverfrost is a fully self-contained Everdell experience with a new board, new country and a focus on winter survival, no other boxes required.
Tense fire-and-snow resource system: snow tokens cover worker spaces and even cards in your city; only by spending precious fire tokens can you thaw those locations and bring your engine back online.
Public and personal Quests via the Rangers’ Guild: classic Events are replaced by powerful public and private quest cards that you claim at the Guild when you meet their conditions, rewarding clever timing and engine spikes.
Ranger worker with snowshoes: each player has a special Ranger meeple in snowshoes that may visit occupied locations and can generate extra fire, giving you a flexible “big worker” for key turns.
Robust solo mode and smooth scaling (1–4 players): tackle Silverfrost solo or with 2–4 players; expect around 30 minutes per player and a complexity tuned to gamers from about age 10+.
Compatible with the wider Everdell line: as part of the Edge of the Map series, Silverfrost is built to mesh with other Everdell titles, allowing ambitious groups to craft sprawling winter campaigns.
Why Choose Everdell: Silverfrost?
Everdell: Silverfrost is perfect for fans of Everdell who want a meatier, more punishing twist on the formula without losing the charm of woodland critters and clever card combos. The snow system actively attacks your best cards and worker spots, forcing you to plan not just how to build your engine, but how to keep it from freezing over. At the same time, the core rhythms of placing workers, playing cards and chaining effects will feel instantly familiar to anyone who has played Everdell or Farshore before. With a dedicated solo mode, narrative-flavoured quests for the Rangers’ Guild and compatibility across the Everdell line, Silverfrost is both a natural “next step” for existing fans and an atmospheric stand-alone entry for groups looking to dive straight into a deep, wintery Everdell experience.
